Consumables

Koba Global Services offers and uses a whole range of consumables to carry out our various activities and meet the different references linked to sustainable development such as different types of paper, envelopes or even films for the production of envelopes.

Koba Global Services is able to offer a wide range of recycled paper adapted to the requirements of our customers (whiteness, % of recycled fibers) but also of all types of weights and finishes (coated, satin, semi-matte, matte, etc.). Koba Global Services ensures to select suppliers certified PEFC and FSC.

Regarding envelopes, the folds we produce can be inserted into all types of envelopes: C6, C5, C4, DL, etc. They also come from PEFC and FSC certified suppliers.

All laser inks are supplied directly by printing equipment suppliers (Canon OCE, XEROX and RICOH), who are committed to supplying non-hazardous products and have signed a partnership with an eco-organization such as CONIBI or LVL. They package their products in compliance with transport and usage safety standards and contribute to the reduction of packaging.

Thus, laser printing limits the use of solvents (100% of the fleet) and we were able to sign contracts with the companies LVL and CONIBI for the recovery of 100% of our used ink consumables in production and in offices.

Koba Global Services wishes to go further in its ecological approach and has invested in printing machines allowing the use of environmentally friendly inks.

T. EA ink is a product resulting from a process used to develop very small and uniformly sized particles from even smaller components. The particles are produced at low energy, and their growth is controlled in an aqueous medium. They are then extracted and processed.

As for packaging, Koba Global Services offers all its customers, depending on the needs and specific requirements of the files, single-wall, double-wall, single-wall or double-wall cartons, etc.

In addition to the packaging and to guarantee additional security to the affixed tape, we offer single or double strapping allowing the sealing of the boxes and certifying that the contents have not been tampered with.

Following the AGEC law of January 2022 requiring the gradual elimination of plastic packaging in communications logistics operations, Koba Global Services has implemented alternative solutions.
For paper wrapping, Koba Global Services has replaced plastic film with heat-sealing film, paper bags and recyclable polyethylene, but also in a "Zero Paper" approach by proposing the affixing of a label on the surface concerned.

Regarding boxes, we have included boxes that can be adjusted to the size of the package in our consumable references.

The protections and cushioning used in the packaging have been replaced, switching from plastic to eco-friendly embossed paper.
The plastic strapping has also been replaced with kraft paper strapping.
